The Family Shack - Rye

This has to be the best holiday house on the Peninsula for the most fabulous break away with the family, the kids and the dog! Able to sleep between twelve and seventeen people, the property offers ample space for everyone. The attention to detail is amazing - the owners have thought of everything that could make a family trip away as memorable as possible - the kids will never want to leave.

The house is double storey and downstairs there is a huge rumpus room/kids retreat with a single bed and bean bags.

This is where the fun begins with table tennis, Fuss ball (table soccer), air hockey table, a Playstation 1 with games, computer, TV, VCR, loads of books and every kind of board game. There is also a sports shed with numerous bikes, helmets, scooters, totem tennis, boogie boards, skim boards, inflatable water toys, wet suits, snorkeling gear, fishing rods, and too much more to mention. For very young children there is a portacot, a rocker, a highchair and a pram.

This older style home has been looked after lovingly and has everything for the adults too to make your break memorable. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house, 2 queens and one room with 2 sets of bunks and 2 trundles.

There is a separate bungalow in the garden with 2 sets of bunks, a trundle, a queen size sofa-bed and sitting area, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and TV, DVD. The outdoor entertaining area has a 4 burner BBQ and overlooks a small garden with a trampoline and basketball hoop.

Location and a luxury getaway

The Family Shack is in a lovely tree lined quiet part of Rye about 1km from the sought after Tyrone foreshore - the best beach in Rye. There is ample off street parking.

Your pampered pooch hasn't been forgotten, the garden is fully fenced and there are dogs bowls, a medium sized kennel in the garden and a dog sling bed in the sunroom right next to the artificial putting green!

The fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining room lead into the lounge area with large flat screen TV, DVD, VCR and great selection of DVD's and videos.

The large bathroom has a corner spa bath with a separate shower and there are 2 toilets.

The lovely welcome hamper includes champagne, juice, chocolates, cereal, jams, oil and vinegar, tea, coffee and everything you need to get started.
