The Principals Residence at Rochford Lodge is a stylishly renovated former miners cottage set high on Rochford Hill overlooking breathtaking countryside deep in the Macedon Ranges.

This delightful 3 bedroom cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated with simple provincial charm. There is one queen bedroom, one double and a very cute 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower and hip bath and there is a separate toilet.

The living room has gorgeous views, sumptuous sofas and a generous flat screen TV plus DVD. For extra relaxation there is a separate reading room with a beautiful wood burning open fireplace.

The alcove dining room with seating for 8 is light and bright with a wonderful aspect onto the garden and the kitchen which has a breakfast table is fully equipped with everything you need.

There is loads of space around the property and the garden is huge. The outdoor entertaining area has a 4 burner gas BBQ and a chimenea/outdoor fireplace to enhance those lovely long summer nights.

The Principals residence is a truly charming house, once here it will be hard to leave!

If you do choose to explore this wonderful part of Victoria, there is a winery walking distance from the front door and 14 others in the area. Hiking, golf, the exquisitely eerie Hanging Rock and delightful country towns like Woodend and Daylesford are all within easy reach.
